Presenting CAIS’s AI Coffee Hour! Our AI Coffee hour is a social event where everyone is invited to bring a cup of coffee and chat with the CAIS members about anything relating to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Want to exchange where you get your AI news and research? Feeling good or need help with your personal AI project? This is the perfect place to meet fellow AI enthusiasts. The discussions will be lightly guided by new themes every week, but nothing AI-related is off-limits. No prior experience or knowledge is required.

Special Guest

Vinyas Harish is an MD/Ph.D. student at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine and Dalla Lana School of Public Health. He stands at the confluence of knowledge and expertise between the fields of clinical medicine, digital epidemiology, and emergency preparedness. Upon completing his pre-clerkship medical training, Harish has started doctoral studies exploring applications of machine learning in population-level risk prediction and preparedness for global health emergencies. Currently, Harish works as a Doctoral Fellow in the Collaborative Specialization in Global Health and has many publications and awards to his name.
